Despite signing a new contract with Napoli in December, with the striker's release clause worth around £113m , Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed the Nigerian international would leave the club at the end of the season 

The 25-year-old has been linked with PSG, Chelsea, and Arsenal, but according to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, Osimhen would rather play in the Premier League next season, rather than return to Ligue 1 

Napoli are reportedly in talks with Chelsea over a cash-plus-player transfer; with Romelu Lukaku possibly moving to the Serie A outfit on top of the Blues forking out a big fee for Osimhen
